The path we are gonna take is
Dehradoon - Mussorie- Nainbag-Naugaon- Damta- Purola-Mori- Sankri.
The drive was all along river Yamuna . Between Purola and Mori ,River Tons, One of the major tributaries of Yamuna was flowing and on the both pine trees making driver wondeful. Mori is also a famous rafting spot.We reached Mori at 2 and after some quick lunch we headed for Sankri. We know its getting late . A truck got stuck in a pit causes further delay . Finally we reached at 4 PM and met our guide Chandan Singh Rana. He told us its not possible to go Taluka today as it will be dark pretty soon and it would take atleast 2 hrs to reach so decided to stay in Sankri.
After taking Dormitory in GMVN we looked for other arrangement done by Guide (Kerosene, Stove, vegetables,eggs, utensils and some extra rice, pulses and flour.
It getting chilled by evening ,we did simple dinner and back to beds.This is our first night in hills , and we start thinking whts gonna happen at HKD. Everybody slept in fullgears socks, monkey caps, gloves .
